Us too, !!

We just got a cheap weekend away in Salou and it was really busy,
Prices were expensive compared to Lanza for food and drink etc as well, although we had a good time, it's nowhere near as nice as Lanza

Happy Holidays
Danny

Our daughter has just come back from Tenerife and said the same. Lots of places closed but it seems busier this year compared to the last two.

She also said that there were lots of AI people eating out at night. Looks like it is the same whereever you go.

Might seem a daft question but does anyone know if Friends have Irn Bru. Friends of ours coming out in early November like their Vodka and Irn Bru?

Thought I share this with you as I am working nightshift. Only 45 days until we are back in Lanzarote. Bring it on.

Cheers Ray.

Did not try it last time we were out. Have read so many reviews will just have to try it in November. Do they have a bar or do you sit outside.

Yum Yum's is basically a counter in a small store so no, there's no bar! There's a little table indoors and a couple outside but it's really very small. They sell cans / bottles as you would find in a local sandwich shop / bakery shop over here. We had a New Yorker wrap last week and they were bloody fab! They were still warm by the time we got back to La Penita to scoff em too
Also big apologies to the guys at Friends - we booked lunch on Sunday for 1pm and never made it. Due to some local scally stealing my bag I was sat in the court house in Arrecife from 11am worried sick about missing our time slot. When the clock ticked past 3pm and we were still there I just felt so guilty.
If anyone from Friends is reading, I am so so sorry for the 2 x Beef's at 1pm that didn't show - after 30 hrs with no food or sleep by the time we were allowed to leave court we went back to the apts and slept they horrible day / night off.

Thanks for that Steve, I have to say the chicken dippers I had on Saturday were gorge and I was so looking forward to my dinner. Doing roast ham tomorrow to make up for it and we will hope to sample your roast when we can afford to come back!

Nics1979. Thanks for the info on Yum Yums. Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Hope this does not put you off comong back to Lanzarote. We go out on 03/11/2011.

We have friends who are arriving on a Sunday evening about 19.30. There are staying at a villa at the airport end of the strip. Can anyone tell me what time the Spar there closes on a Sunday.
