Hi does anybody know anything about arranging a wedding in Lanzarote we would like to tie the knot there in october 2006. and would like some feedback from somebody who has got married there or who knows anything about it

I got married in Lanzarote last year in Leneghans Restaurant.

I wouldn't recommend anywhere else to get married, Lanzarote is beautiful.

Ann Leneghan has a restaurant with large terrace area etc, Ann will arrange almost everything for you.

I have been in touch with Anne and I have to say she seems to know her stuff and the prices are unbelieveably cheap compared to getting married here in Ireland so I think we are going to book with her How did your big day go ? Was the food etc. ok or would you have any advice to give me

That’s no problem Gill.

Well the big day was great it all went well and the food was unbelievable.

The organization of everything was brilliant e.g. table arrangements, food, decoration etc.

I also recommend the photographer that Ann deals with he can take you to the beach for pictures and/or the gardens of a hotel near Leneghans Restaurant (the gardens are beautiful).

I can go on all day talking about it.

Thanks Zoey , I have booked for the 18th of October 2006 with Anne in her restaurant so now I just have to decide on the menus and flowers cake etc.

I was wondering about the photographer did your pictures turn out well ? And also sorry for wrecking your head with loads of questions but did you have a band or a DJ ? (was just wondering what they are like ) and also did you get your flowers off Anne and were they nice ?

Hi again.

The pictures turned out very well we were both very pleased with them.
You can choose all of the pictures you like and arrange them into different sizes etc. Ann normally arranges for him to come to your hotel a few days before the wedding, he then will show you all the different places he can take you and the prices etc.

We decided to have a DJ and he was very good, he also did a karaoke so it was a laugh.

I unfortunately did not get my flowers from Ann as my sister in law arranged that for me, I know that Ann can get what you want though at very good prices!

She only has dates available now for October, so hopefully we will confirm a date then. I have got prices from many places throughout Spain and Ann's prices are definitely the best. Hi Gill

We stayed in Costa Teguise, I recommend Los Zocos apartments.

If you are looking for a good hotel speak to Ann about Hotel Jameos Playa (that's where the photographer takes you for pictures)it's beautiful, if I knew about it before I booked the apartments I would of stayed in that Hotel.

Hotel Beatriz in Costa Teguise is another nice one (my spellings may be wrong!)

There are lots of nice hotels in Costa Teguise / Puerto del Carmen etc...
