good food

I´m going to Scunthorpe!!!!!!! :wink:

Went to Meadowhall centre recently and had a great SPANISH meal at LA TASCA!
When in England, eat Spanish! :twisted:

Yes Cy, I agree you can get some good food in La Tasca,

Besides, when on holiday I never have grilled fish.....not keen on fish

I believe you should eat & drink what you like,

Also one in Butuan, Phillipines.
The point is?
I believe McDonalds is American, not exactly your British food.

I eat what I feel like eating, as should everyone. I´ve just returned from the Phillipines and ate nothing but Phillipino food, all varieties. Had a local lass showing me around, then to friends houses for REAL Phillipino food.

Try Arrecife for a REAL Canarian experience of food, or PdC (and other resorts) for a real worldwide food experience.

Food IS an experience to be enjoyed. Wherever it is from.

I think you slightly missed the 'tongue in cheek' humour from Philloyd, I think he was trying to highlight the fact that it seems that in November when you visit the Island you will be 'giving it a try' to every restaurant and bar on the island!!!

thanks deepsix,you are spot on,i am a bit of a p**s taker and was just having fun,but a few seemed to take my comments too seriously,it's only food enjoy it,go where your fancy takes you and most of all have a great time in lanzarote
