absolutely nothing wrong with lasagne but it's a bit like the british family going to spain and seeking out the fish and chip shops.with so much good indiginous food available save the british food for when you are back home.

And whats wrong with that Phill?????
People should eat what they want. Just cause your in Spain does not mean you have to eat these Spanish dishes.
I hate these "want to be Snobs" who come on and try to tell people what to eat :oops: :twisted:

And well said,be back again in 2 weeks time and we will eat what we please, whether it be Chinese, Indian,Fish and chips or Spanish

Not a food snob. Sounds like one to me. The key is it is their and our holiday and we will eat where we want at the time we want.

hi frank and pearl,i know a great english restaurant in bournmouth,just go there on holiday to eat great english food and save yourself all the hastle of going abroad to eat all that crap foreign food :D

This thread would make more sense if you knew what was British food and what wasn't - lasagne is certainly not British!

As FrankandPearl say, and others, when on holiday everyone can pick and choose what they want to eat ...

See now you've got me thinking about salty potatoes and mojo sauce and great slabs of grilled fresh fish. Really I don't know why anyone would want to eat sausage and chips or chicken chow mein instead.

Nice as grilled fish is you can't eat it for 14 nights.
