The Carvery is every Sunday lunch, but they were trying out a new one for Wednesday nights, which is the one we went to. It was packed, so I would assume they will continue.

The bus from PDC was 90c each way per person, whereas the cab was 8 euros for four people (although that was a little further than Tias centre - Barranco de los Trucoss - try saying that after a beer or two!)

Hi frankand pearl,

Didn't mean to imply that you would not want to go to the expense of a taxi. If you have not been to Tias before it is a nice little town with some interesting small shops to browse and a few bars, also the high street where the carvery is located is very flat as I noticed in your previous postings you may not be able to walk too far. There is a taxi rank so it would be easy to pick up one for return to PDC. I think we paid about €4 one way for the cab previously when we hired an apartment there.
I hope this is useful for you.

Regards
LindaK

Pearl can walk about 5 minutes before she needs a rest. having a course of physiotherapy before be come out to try and ease the pain in her leg. Apparently it is a trapped nerve in her back which is causing the pain.

Sorry to hear that, I hope the treatment works in time for your holiday. Still can't think of a better place for rest and recuperation.
