I have been looking at varios hotel websites, and there seems to be nothing clear about this.

Is there a gym in GP, was it in the past, or is it access to another hotel's gym?

If there is one, what's it like?

Thanks

Thanks

I could not find it mentioned on their site, but it came up in a few searches. Additionally, I found a post on a review site saying it was a basic multigym, and you had to hand in your room keys for access.

There was also another review site mentioned the gym was elsewhere but you were permitted to use it if staying in the GP.

Additionally - many hotel booking sites were listing it as having a gym.

Lots of hotels advertise a gym, but in 100% of cases in my experience the gym is either not adequate, has broken equipment and are usually closed .

I emailed them to find out - but nothing has come back yet.

There is a 'proper gym' at Roque Nublo in the Old Town/PDC, but when I have passed it has been too damned hot to do weights.

They never replied to my email about the rental price, car hire (from them), or if there was a gym.

Clearly they have loads of business, and there is no need to reply to punters.

So we called to be told - "no gym", said as if we had appeared with shovels and asked to dig up his grandparents.

So would anyone recommend anywhere else?

We got car hire for a rather impressive 160 euros with full insurance, everything covered bar wheels and keys, and air con for two weeks. Like an opera groupie, its got to be under a tenner a day.

Try http://www.autospluscar.com for car hire. Others use Autoreisen from the airport.

Cheers - that was who it was with - although the site must have changed.
