The Lanza Princess is a good value hotel for the money. It is as central as you can get - out the back gate and across the road to Burger King and Playa Dorada beach, aorund the corner to Kikoland for the kids. The pool area is nice and open and the pool bar area is nice. The food is grand not the Ritz but ample choice and value for money. The thing I like most about it, is the atmosphere. Some hotels are like a library around the pool area with people frowning at your kids laughing or playing and enjoying them selves. It can make you feel awkward and uncomfortable. The good thing is there is plenty of room for the people who like a library/morgue around the pool and place for the kids splashing and having fun. You feel welcome and there is a friendly atmosphere there. You would want to be a right nit picker not to like the hotel. You will hear the decor is jaded etc - maybe it is but its clean and light and airy and it looks well OK to me. Kids club last week excellent.
