I was last on here two years ago when we had our first trip to Lanzarote, stayed at the Gran Castillo, had a fantastic time. Didn't get away last year but this year we're heading back.

Not doing a package thing this time although we are thinking of staying at the Castillo again, as t was a great place to stay last time. Unless, anyone can tell me if it's gone down hill in the last two years?

We did AI last time, and Initially we were going to only half board it this year, but the up charge was tiny to upgrade to AI, so we're back all inclusive. But, we're getting a car this time round and plan to see a lot more of the Island and sample the Islands bars and restaurants. kids that bit older now, so easier to do

So, first off... Gran Castillo. Has it changed much from two years ago? Prices are up a wee bit but has the standard remained? Next... Where to visit? Day trips ideally. We're not culture vultures by any means but also don't wear football tops, if you know what I mean, so some suggestions for places to visit would be great.
