hope you have got it sorted now. Just wanted to let you know that we had an incident when we were over in july/aug with our 11 yr old son. We were leaving a resturant and my son didn't see that the glass doorway was only half open and was running towards what he thought was an open doorway,so he ended up run full pelt into the glass which shattered and he ended up with huge cuts to his hand and severed tendons in his thumb. The gaurdia turned up and then an ambulance which took us to a medical centre similar to the one you mention which was in Tias. They couldn't help us because of the severed tendon but said we could go to the private hosp or the main one in areciffe,but they wanted to know if we had insurance which we did! I wanted to go to the private one but when they rang them the surgeon wasn't there and wouldn;t be until the next morning!! So we ended up getting a cab to Areciffe where he was seen (took hours!!) and had antibiotics blood tests ansd stitches (took 5 hours in all) nobody spoke much english but we managed ok and all the staff were great! We weren't charged a penny (only had to pay for the cab - not cheap!) BUT they did want passport details and insurance docs and the 111 card,which they did ask for upfront at both places and in the ambulance! So hopefully you shouldn't be charged and as others have mentioned they prob only want to have your details to claim but not from you!! Good luck x

Thanks for all the help folks - Guy from A-Z is going to drop the copies of my docs off in person on Monday (didn't get a chance to today). I don't have access to a fax machine so it's prob the easiest way?
There will be a 30e fee to pay for Guy's services but I suppose I will at least know that the matter has been resolved.
