Sorry can't help on the location. We went end Sept/beg October last year and it was very hot. Personally I always seemed to need a cardigan in the evening, but I think I was in the minority. I always feel it coolish on my arms after the heat of the sun during the day.

known locally as just don paco.
Located at the jameos playa end of los pocillos. There is a gate which allows you a short cut to the front but is generally closed at nights.
It is at the round about just before the new macdonalds.
I have heard they are keed up for families and are about 2 miles from the start of Puerto del Carmen strip.
It is upto the individual in respect of cardigans some are more weather concious than others.

Following on from what ‘overhere’ has already said….
The complex is set back a short way from the Los Pocillos beach, when I stayed there many moons ago it was very much family orientated. The beach is large and flat and ideal for kids to play on. The immediate vicinity is relatively low key, there are a number of bars, shops and restaurants as you approach the beach which stretch towards your left (as you approach the beach) in the adjacent resort of Matagorda, as well as to the right (Costa Mar). Further towards the right the beach reaches around towards the main resort of Puerto Del Carmen (PDC) where there is a better selection of bars, shops and restaurants and some nightlife (Centro Atlantico).
You can walk to the start of PDC (San Antonio Hotel on the beach side) in about 15 mins, the ‘strip’ then continues for about 3km, further beyond that is the Old Town which is definitely worth a visit.
You can see the surrounding area on this map (you might need to zoom in a bit) :-

Don Paco is shown at the far right end of the Los Pocillos beach, just a little bit inland, and you can also see San Antonio at the other end of Pocillos beach with PDC stretching beyond with the Old Town towards the leftmost edge.
Ole
P.S. Don Paco is located close to the airport runway and so there will be some aircraft noise but not at night.
