Hi All, Lanzarote Virgin! Please Help, Need all the info!

Hi All!!

Im planning a little holiday at the end of October to celebrate my 18th birthday with two of my girlfriends and have no idea where to go as i understand its the end of the party season but i have been recommended by many people that i should visit Lanzarote? I've never been anywhere like this before ive only ever been to Asia & America but seeing as its my 18th would like to go on a cheap and cheerful clubbing and relaxing beach holiday for about a week or so between the end of Oct and beginning of November (Most likely from the 29th Oct-5th Nov)?

Would you recommend it clubbing and shopping wise for an 18,21 & 17 year old?
Whats the weather like during these times?
Is it still busy over there during these dates?
And last but not least... Which part of Lanzarote would you recommend to suit us?

Any other info/tips you have would also be very helpful as were completely clueless as of what to expect! :?:

You would be better in Puerto del Carmen. There is the Centro Atlantico section full of nightclubs. Don´t expect Ibiza style mayhem but many people have good clubbing holidays in this area.

If its clubbing you want then no - its definitely not the place to go.

If you want a balanced holiday of sun, beach, and bar crawling then yes it is great place.

When I was your age I stayed in playa blanca and then got cabs to Puerto Del Carmen - round cost of about 60-70E between 4 wasn't too painful - in fact still do! PdC not my cup of tea to stay in but that's me - thousands of others do and have no probs its just personal choice and how much cash you have to spend.

Weather should be great!

Puerto Del Carmen will be perfect for you.
Loads of Disco Bars that stay open till 3/4 and then 2 nite clubs that stay open till 6.
And if your still looking to keep going, there is an early house in the Old Town

Err Focker - clearly you don't get out much but there is a big difference between a holiday hopping between disco bars and going clubbing.

As long as you know what you are getting - Lanza is fab - definitely great for a mixed holiday - but it is not remotely a clubbing hotspot.

Err you brought up the whole thing about knocking shops in the first place!

If we can try and vaguely get back on topic - which was is Lanza a clubbing destination - then no it is not!

The lack of night clubs might have something to do with it!

Arrecife does but few brits are brave enough to venture out of their comfort zones to try a night out there.

In PDC only Caesars gets close - but that has identity issues - last couple of years has been trying to be some sort of Coyote Ugly tribute bar with a floor show. Hmmmm.

Not saying you can't have a good time - don't get me wrong.
Just that if you think the disco bars like Big Apple, Waikiki etc equate to nightclubs then you need to get with the program grandad!!!

LOL!! Thanks for all the replies everybody, Im still not sure where to go though, looks as though its between Playa Blanca and Puerto Del Carmen now.. Anybody know what the shopping is like there?

More Info/tips/recommendations still needed as were still unsure!! Thanks All
