Greetings Helpful People

Having done Costa Teguise to death I am in Playa Blanca next week and would like to have a look at some recommended holiday apartments for another visit next January and in the future. I only need a one bedroom apartment and would be glad if anyone could recommend or tell me where to look. I have glanced through the normal Review Sites but sometimes feel the people on this site are much more in the know!

Also, please don't shout, but this time I am going AI at the Sun Tropical. This is because I am taking my disabled son and felt on this occasion it would be easier. I am, however, hiring a car from the airport as usual and wonder whether any of you helpful people could tell me where it is once I get to the resort.

When you arrive at Playa Blanca, go straight accross the Island at the Petrol Station. Take a left at the next Island.
At the strange Island/feeder lane go straight on. You´ll see Sun beach and Sun Royal on your right.
At the crossroads just after the Sun Royal turn left.
This is now tricky, take the next left then you´ll see Sun Tropical tucked away in a kind of back road on your left.
I believe the Sun Tropical has a back gate (key/number operated) to make it easier to walk to the town.

Don't want to confuse directions but if you turn left at the first roundabout when you get to Playa Blanca (with the petrol station infront of you) then you will come to a t-junction which is the wall of Sun Tropical and so turn left and follow the road up for 300m (Sun Tropical is beside you as you drive up) take the first turn on the right and then the first right again - ignore the "No-Entry sign" when you get to the car park and drive straight up to reception to unload (i'm sure much easier for your son as well). Then park up back in the car-park!

Sun tropical is a nice place. Loads of room; lots of pools and plenty beds.

AI not the best of ideas. You are close to main strip in PB, if you go out back gate, you are only about 15 mins walk. Restaurants on seafront are excellent.

hiya , we've just returned from Sun Tropical - any questions just ask and we'll help if we can ! You can get a back gate pass from reception for 10 euros and it cuts 10 mins off the walk into playa blanca. A tip aswell , if you are not fussed about going to welcome meetings - defo give this one a miss , it was painfully boring and the reps who did it needed a rocket up their arses ! trips are available from Last Minute travel in town , for much cheaper than what first choice are charging - we(us and the 2 kids) went on the grand tour and it was great ! have a great time ! wish we were going back !
