we were scammed in tenerife, canpress, with reclaim and club class. what idiots we were, and sadly not alone. just google reclaim!
we found timeshare consumers association on 01909 591100 or http://www.timeshare.org.uk very useful. you can get all ya monsy back via consumer credit act 1974 and claim against your credit card and/ or bank. they also told me to watch for the likes of justice reveals etc who are all in the scam. they prey on the likes of club class customers saying they are currently getting reclaim etc to court in spain. they demand an upfront payment to get your case heard, its a total con also! where will this end. we are currently trying to get our money back locally using v sound advise which is totally free!

good luck, keep in touch, jamie ( mr+Mrs)

We spent 4 hours of our precious last day listening to the drivel that these jokers churned out. All because of some bird dishing out "scratchcards"

We only escaped this torture that you guys have been through because we told them we couldn't afford their fees. We were almost taken in by their schpiel and amazingly low prices for hols.

Remember if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is..

On Wednesday 30th July 08, my boyfriend and i were scammed. The owner of the wee camera shop directly the facing fariones store at the very top of the main strip is nothing but a conman, his store should be burnt down

My bf wanted to buy a digital camera which was originally 95 euro but bargained him down to 80 euro. The man showed him how it operated and my bf paid for the camera, but once the cash was handed over the man said we'd have to wait 30 mins for the box to be delivered from Teguise!!!!! he then pulled out a silly black camera which was originally 850 euro and was trying to give us that one for 80 euro  . We said no we wanted the silver one thats what he paid for but the man said "no take the black one, no receipt no proof" (the cheek) but we refused to budge. He kept telling us to get out of his shop but there was no chance, we werent leaving without the money whatever it took.

I threatened him with the police but he was like "go ahead" but then once he realised i was serious and was prepared to do this, he and his friend muttered something in another language and finally handed over the money, shouting after my boyfriend, get out, bas****!! (Charming)...

So please be warned, do not go into this store, these are smart men who wouldn't think twice about taking advantage of others. He's a bully and turns nasty when caught out!!!! We were lucky to get the money back, i'm sure many others aren't.

For some reason this link does not have any recent posts,
here is my experience

after joining club class via lanzerote leisure in 2004. we did receive our reclaim voucher we filled it out and sent it off.

On the due date we sent out our voucher and were pleased to get a letter confirming our claim was correct.

that was on the 26 August 2008

Reclaims T & C's state they will inform us of the amount we will receive within 90 days and then post the cheque 90 days after that.....
.....no contact from them whatsoever.

Reclaims office is in Malaga, Spain. Tel: 0034 95 276 6433.

Be patient, their office is open 11am until 3pm mon to thurs. and 11am until 2pm on Fridays.
you will get a ringing tone and someone will answer eventually, but you may have to ring on several occasions.

You will speak to a secretary who can not access your information. but will ask for your contact details and get a Mr Wiilis. to ring you back.

In the last 8 months he has not manged to do so.

I will keep on trying

Ian
