Hi There

Thinking of emigrating to Lanzarote, but need to know if there is a Neurology Department on the island because I suffer from a rare disease called Wilson's Disease.
I would appreciate feedback.

before trying to be smart Ultan why did you not find out when (I assume) you were here on a holiday. I find it strange anyone thinking of 'emigrating' hasn't vivited the place before.

Of course your first post was way back in Oct 2006 so you really weren't that keen on coiming here in the first palce.

Ultan, have you ever thought that maybe there isn't anyone on this forum who has had need to visit a neurologist, so, thats why your question was never answered [:0]

Are you sure it is a neurologist you need to see, I thought Wilson's disease primarly attacked the liver.

Yes your right, Wilsons does effect the Liver but in cases that are diagnosed later in life i.e, late teens and into early adulthood it also can effect the brain.

Do you know if there is a good neurology department over there.I have been over there on numerous occasions, checked out hospitals etc, but as I have little or no Spanis I am having a problem finding out for myself.I would appreciate if you could tell me if you know of one.

Well when you go back in September why dont you ask english people? Like in bars and cafes? Or find someone in a hospital who speaks english.
