I'm off to Lanzarote is a few weeks and am trying to find out what supermarkets are the best in Lanzarote? I've found various ones on the internet like Hiperdino, Maxicoop, Europspar but can you tell me which are considered the biggest and best ones and where they are? I'm staying in Playa Blanca but will have a car so can travel anywhere to find the best. By the way, I'm not looking for a supermarket that sells British food, I would like local food and fresh meat, fish, veg etc. Thanks for your help!

There's a fairly large Hiperdino in the centre of PB, it has an underground car park, get your receipt stamped and it's free to use.

We use hiperdino for basics and Ropers las coloradas for meat fish veg etc superb quality and value.
