hi all,
i used to live in lanza but now just go on holiday ut there about 3 times a year,
I havent been to the island for about a year now but just wondered if ricks bar was still open ?

It was touch and go when we were over in May.
Gary wants to start something new up I think, but he may still be there.

Just found this on another site...
Seems to have been written by Gary, so hope it's not a hoax
"the rumours are true...anita and i are leaving ricks at the end of september.hopefully we will be staying on the island and getting somewhere new.many thanks to everybody who has supported us over the five years and thanks for all the laughs and good times.look forward to seeing you all soon"

Went into Ricks a few nights over last few weeks and although Gary's gone, Sean & co seem to be keeping the spirit alive, they took on board what we said about Gary (which must have been a bit grating) and gave us good tunes, Karaoke, bit of banter and good drinks deals. Keep it up guys, we'll be back for more soon.

what a shame really is an end of a era, where will i fall asleep when im extremely drunk lol i used to always get stick of gary for that lol
