Hi everyone,

I heard some very disturbing news that the Tropical bar on the strip has closed , is it still closed or was it being refurbished? My kids loved it there and will be very disappointed if its shut when we come out in 9 weeks

Also, a few months ago we saw that emmas cantina in the old town was up for sale? i haven't heard anything since and am wondering if anyones been recently. It is my favourite restaurant and i hope Mike and Co are still there?

tropical has been flattened and building work continues there..not heard what its going to be when eventually reopened

Emma's Cantina has had a for sale sign outside for ages. Dont know why, but as far as i know they are still going strong

I wonder what will happen where Tropical was then? It's quite a big space on the strip for there to be nothing there?! anyone know?

Just back this morning from PDC. Tropical is just a huge hoarding and completly covered in and gone. I heard it was going to be shop of some sort !

Ate at Emma's and was lovely as usual, the waitress was saying that they were looking for larger premises

Tropical is going to a be a huge upmarket designer label shop. As for emma's I've not been in to see mike for a few months but I know he was saying he'd like a bigger place so maybe that explains things.
