Has anyone taken the boat trip from Orzola out to Graciosa?

Is it worth it and do you have any tips to make the most of it?

Well worth the trip but can be rough if the wind gets up.
If you are there for the day take plenty of food and water and just walk.
Very peaceful but do not be surprised to see naked people wandering about.

€15 return, can also book for a restaurant meal (VERY) fresh fish on arrival.
Bus from Arrecife connects with the boat so you don´t even need transport.

Definitely worth doing. Get to Orzola early - ie. 8am and have coffee whilst waiting for boat.
You can park in Orzola but make sure you use proper car park and don't leave anything in car.

Take a sun umbrella - there is absolutely no shelter at all!!

If feeling fit 45min to an hour walk to nearest beaches. If not jump in one of the land rovers. Various to choose from but be careful swimming as not safe to go far out because of the currents.

Take lots of water and don't miss the last boat back - although there are some very cheap and basic b and bs.

Typically you'll be on a kilometre long white sand beach with about 10 people!
