Hi everyone!

Thanks so much for helping me with my last post.

It's under three weeks when my girlfriend and I arrive and we couldn't be more excited!!!

just wondering if we should pack jackets/jumpers for the evenings? or is it still nice and hot walking around restaurants etc?

cheers! :) xxx

It can get breezy in the evenings, so you're probably better off bringing a light jacket or light jumper.

It depends though - if you've got a long-sleeved shirt on you'll probably be OK. But ladies with shoulder-exposing dresses/tops might need a cardigan or something. (Fashion is not my strong point!)

Hi,whatever time of year that we go (Between April and November)I always only wear shorts, sandals and short sleeved shirts of a night,I'm not saying it is really warm but there is really no need for the way that some people walk around in fleeces and jumpers.

Jackets and jumpers in the evening in 3 weeks time!!! Why?
Shorts and t shirt more like, over myself next Sunday for 2 weeks, I return most evenings quite late, and never think 'I wish I had my jumper on'

Never underestimate how chilly a lady can feel.

Depends where you're going, Costa Tegueise can be very breezy while Playa Blanca wil be sheltered and much warmer.

We were in PDC 28th July - 11th August. We usually go this time of year and in the past never required sleeves at night, however the weather has been a little unusual in most places this year, including Lanzarote. I was ok with tee shirts as they cover shoulders, bur for women with strappy tops (bare shoulders) some evenings were a little chilly, therefore would recommend a light top, with long / short sleeves for out doors.
In previous years this has not been necessary, and may not be by September, but who knows. Better safe than cool.

thanks everyone for your input - from what you've all said I think I'll be ok, but will probably take a light jacket so I can offer it to my girlfriend to earn romance points ;)

this forum really is good :) thanks again!
