Hi all, have been to Lanza for the last 3 years, but we have always been between april and sept. We are thinking of booking a getaway to lanza first week in January. Question is, is it busy enough to be enjoyable around the bars and restaraunts or is it dead? If it was gonna be very quiet we may well leave it untill further in the year. It doesnt have to be thriving as even on our last 2 trips to lanza we have witnessed the drop in numbers to the island, but we dont want to come to a ghost town either. Any help appreciated to help us decide if we should book or not.

We go every January to PDC for 5 or 6 week's. There is alway's a good crowd around, not saying bar's an cafe's are full but enough for you to have good time. Weather quite nice, alsway's in the 20s.Evening's chilly-need a jumper.
Were off again this Jan for 5 week's, alway's have great time.
Go for it-you won't be sorry

we were in PB for the 1st 2 weeks in january this year.
I wouldn't say it was like a ghost town, nor was it busy.
it's worth going just for the weather even though it might only be 23/24 degrees.
better than the uk And we missed all the snow
If it weren't for the fact we're going for a month in july, we'd have booked again for jan.
