If anyone uses this airline reguarly it is well worth taking up their membership offer of getting points for every pound you spend.
My wife and I have just got 2 outbound flights, and one inbound 'free' for the end of March, from using the airline to Lanzarote over the last 2 years.
Just need to book accommodation now, anyone stayed at Los Cocoteros? Looks quite good.
Also back again in August, so will be totting up our points again.

Also good to sit "up front". You get extra legroom as you do with Monarch, can book meals, lounges etc.
Just had most of the fleet internally refurbished too.

Yes but what Jet2 needs is an entire new fleet of planes altogether, I know a Jet2 engineer and they are breaking down all the time, some are over 35 years old and are old Boeing 737-300 types and 757-200's. The good news is they have just bought 5 new generation 737-800's and eventually will probably end up with an entire fleet of 800 series aircraft the sooner the better

Nothing wrong with the old DanAir 727's and 737's!!!

Here, I remember the old Dan Air flights. They even had a woman pilot back then !

My daughters couldn't believe it.

Remember being seated on one of their planes waiting for take off, and a scruffy looking fella in an old pullover and jeans walked up the steps towards the front of the plane, I thought to myself, 'Theirs always one turns up late ,looks like he has had a rough night'...turns out, yes you've guessed it,the pilot

Oldest is 24 years old, the reg escapes me but it's a 737-300. In aircraft terms, that isn't too bad, as long as they're properly maintained.

Also note, the 737-300 didn't enter service until 1984, and was in production until a year after the first NG was delivered.
