Hi everyone i hope you can give me some help and advice! My fiance and i would love to stay in lanzarote for a few weeks but what is the job situation like over there at minute? My fiance an experienced chef and i am currently working as a shop assistant. Also what is the best way to get accomodation for a long period of time at a decent price? We will be on a tight budget! Any information will be greatly appreciated

Unfortunately the employment situation on the Island can only be described as chronic at the moment! The unemployment rate currently stands at 31.5%, which is disastrous (even by Spanish standards).

As for accommodation, if it's only for a few weeks, you should probably look for a deal on a holiday let Apartment.
