Hi everyone,
Returned to Mansfield on 28th May after two weeks in PB. This was our fourth visit and certainly the quietest, especially the first week (was told things are slow in May anyway). Exellent food and service in the usual haunts- La Bocaina, Almacen de la Sal and Brisa Marina, although we were the only ones in the Bocaina. The best meal, however was at the Chinese at Faro Park (in the line of shops) where we had a set meal for two (nobody else in there either). The owner feared that if things didn't pick up, she would have to close and move back to Hong Kong.
On the plus side the daytime weather was sunny and warm

but chilly in the evenings with a cold wind

.
(jumper required). We stayed in a villa in the Las Margaritas area, so only ten minute walk into town.
In the second week had a drive to PDC (first time there) where it seemed to be a lot bigger and busier than PB. Tried to find Spenders (we've heard a lot about it) asked around but to no avail-gave up in the end.
On the last night we went to the Irish Anvil to watch European Cup final (a special treat for Carol you undersstand).
All in all another great holiday in Lanzarote-can't wait to come back.
dave
