hi everyone, im new to this. I was hoping to get info on Lanzarote's current prices. We booked to go in August 2011 and i am wondering how much cash you would spend in 9 night? we eat and drink ALOT!! well more of the drinking than eating really. can anybody tell me:
how much is a pint beer?
how much are cocktails?
vino?
dinner for 2 with bottle of wine?
supermarket stuff water, beer crisps etc.
any reviews on plaza palmaras?

Prices are about 1.50 euro for a beer.....wine is cheap compared to the uk....really depends on what you wanna do when your out there...is take at least £1200 with me but that me !! If you mean plaza palmeras on sands beach its lovely as i have one there as well.

Beer in the bars can be got for €1.50 as said above , but a large beer in a restaurant can be €3.25. We would usually allow €100 per day to cover everything between two of us which would cover any bits for breakfast ( not big brekkie people) then lunch and dinner out every day and supermarket stuff, bottles of vino for the apartment etc. Local spirits are cheap in restaurants, good spanish brandy like a Torres 5 year old for about €4. Good Spanish wine like Torres Rosado can be got for about €3 a bottle. But the Lanzarote wines are dearer. El Grifo is around €6.50 in shops and €11-12 in restaurants.
Two sunbeds and a sunshade are €8 on the main beach in PdC, presume same elsewhere. If you plan to drive, 2 days in car about €50 all in and petrol about 90cent/litre....yeah 90cent, you could drive to the moon and back on a tenner out there.
Fresh fruit etc. not cheap and need to buy little and often as ripens very fast. Cocktails very but lots places have happy hours so check around. Oh yeah one last thing, STAY AWAY FROM THE ELECTRONIC SHOPS.

gosh the prices seem quite decent in comparison to home, i spent €7.00 on bottle of wicked in the o2 at kyle convert, what a rip off!!!i still paid for it and drank more than one so cant really complain! still havent booked a hotel but hopefully plenty available. Cant wait for hols now it sounds fantastic. After reading the reviews on the electrical stores i ceratainly wont be goin anywhere near them, must warn my other half as he is easily led with gadgets.
