Hi there,
thinking of moving over next year with our two children, just interested in how peoples kids climatised. Little worried as our lads ginger and very pale, everyone says he'll be fine but love to hear from parents that are actually there.
Thanks x
Amanda

I live here and have a 5 year old son, who loves the beach. He is blonde with blue eyes, so I need to keep an eye on him. The main thing is to be sensible. We always have a cooling sea breeze off the Atlantic here, so it sometimes feels a lot cooler than it actually is. Make sure they are coverd with a very high factor sun screen, reapply every time they go in the water and wear a hat to protect the sensitive skin at the back of their necks. Good luck with your move.
