Does anyone know what time you have to be out of your room on your last day? I'm staying at the Atlantis Las Lomas & my return flight is at 9:30pm. I have checked for availability/price for the late check out room, But wondering if i should or not? If i didn't take that option then is there somewhere to keep my luggage?
Hmm.. Maybe i should just do it for the sake of £26.
Let me know if any of you have done that and is it worth it?

Hi there, you have to be out of your room by 12pm, i stayed there when i was in lanza 2 weeks ago, we made friends with people within the apartments so luckily we could keep our luggage in their room but i'm not sure if they can keep your luggage, my flight home wasnt untill 10pm, you can stay around the complex, you just have to be out of your room. Just a word of warning before you go, make sure ALL of your valubles are kept in the safe or in a locked suitcase because my digital camera was stolen and my friends money on the first night. I'm sure you will have an amazing time, i did!! xx

Hiya, Thanx for that info. I think i might just book a late room. I wouldnt like it, if i didnt book a room then be stuck with nowhere to keep my cases. You were lucky enough to meet someone who was willing to let you do that but then again its a trust issue from my point. What was your plan knowning your flight wasnt until 10pm, were you just going to keep your cases near reception?
I`ll also be getting a safty deposit box, i dont trust anyone expecially the cleaners, what a bummer for you getting your camera stolen on your 1st night.. that would of put a downer on my holiday altogether. Any ideas on how much they are to hire?
What were the rooms like? we`re staying in a 1bed apt.

Hello, i guess we planned to leave our cases at reception, i went with 9 friends so there was always one of us in the room with the cases. I suppose it would be worthwhile getting the late room so that you can still sunbathe or go shopping on your last day, without having to worry about your case. There is a safe in the wardrobe but ask how to use it on arrival because we didnt even get told there was a safe, let alone how to use it! We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, the apartments are really nice, clean and spacious, there were 2 beds in each room with a pull out sofa bed, the bathroom is nie and spacious too. Let me know if you need anymore info.

I’ve stayed at Atlantis loads of times and left my luggage in the reception area several times without any problems. BUT that doesn’t mean to say that there WONT be a problem, there’s lots of people coming and going with cases and it’d be very easy for someone to nick one. Fortunately though it’s quite a rare occurrence, in fact I’ve never known it !
You can actually leave your case outside reception so that you can see it from the pool if that makes you feel safer, or even by your sunbeds if you want, but if your concerned, then maybe £26 is worth it at least for the peace of mind.
Personally I just treat the last day like any other, we don’t use the apartment much anyway, and there should be an apartment where you can have a shower. But if not, just have one by the pool and get changed in the loos.
Tip – leave your going home clothes n stuff in your hand luggage (or top of your case) along with a carrier bag for any wet clothes.

Ole, & lou
Thanks for that advice.. I might just go out there as you both did and see what happenes, if i got there and really wanted a room, then i could ask to see if there was one available.
Ta for all the advice.
