Are we to assume you only monitor YOUR site once and a while? that guy must have been up most of the day posting judging by the number of posts to his credit.

We do not have a full-time staff member just reading the forum all day if that's what you mean. However, we do check it every few hours. We do rely on the goodwill of our users and hope that they will inform us of any spammy posts.

The poster was not a real human being, but rather an automated spambot from China. We are able to stop most of these (about 20 per day) by requiring that new members authenticate themselves via email, but the occasional one gets through.
