Hello Four years ago I visited Puerto Del Carmen and actually fell in love with a restuarant called Los Italinos. It was located in the CC Aquarium on the Avenida de las Playas. Also i have to know if the Golden Corner Cocktail bar is still open. Im sure it is but you never know! Me and my Boyfriend are out there on Valentine day next February. Does anyone know of any romantic ideas you can do out there or previous experiences. I welcome anything!! Thanks

The Golden Corner certainly is still open and a very good spot for a cocktail and watch the world go by. I don't know Los Italinos but some of the other posters might.

Probably not very original now, but a naked midnight swim used to do it for me back in the day

Dont get me wrong, Golden Corner is a lovely place, with some of the best cocktails I've ever tasted, but..............
Me & my brother went in on 1 January 10 and were charged 38 Euro for 2 cocktails. When I queried this with the bar staff they told me the menu (saying 12 Euros a drink) was out of date.
After a heavy night on NYE we really didn't have the enery to argue, never been back to Golden Corner since.
Surely you can get a good cocktail in PDC without having to re-mortgage???

Good god YM, I nearly fell off my chair mate !!!! 38€ for 2 drinks, I was in there last year and it was around 8€/9€ a cocktail, (which is expensive in it's own right) but someone was taking the mickey mate !...You chould have said how come the menu and prices were still out for consumers if they were out of date ???, every place in PDC is supposed to carry a book for customers who are dissatisfied so they may have dropped the price if you asked for that ....
On a better note ....Thanks to your tip we tried the Hawaain bar a bit further along, they were great and much cheaper
Los Italianos is still there, next to a Mexican (forget the name), ....The Way West and another Mexican, El Charro
Happy Holidays Danny

What other cocktails bars that are PDC or even Pocillos that are good and do decent cocktails not the rubbish ones that are mainly fruit juice and come in little glasses not the correct ones!!!

Yes Danny, I almost fell off my chair at the bar!
I had a proper new years day head though and decided to leave it, they really must have seen us coming.
No problem about the tip, Hawaiian Bar was good, also did a nice beer for 1.50 at the time.
Cheers YM

Apologies Danny.......................
Speaking to my brother at the match Tuesday night, and it seems that I was incorrect with my information! We were charged 28 Euro for the two cocktails.
OK, still expensive, but I think it's only fair I put the truth about Golden Corner out!
