My/Our Holiday Opinion:
We recently stayed in the Los Pueblos aparments and were very happy with our stay. We booked a last minute deal for lexx than 600 euros all in so thought once it was clean we would be happy. Have been in Lanzarote before so knew the old town well. The Los Pueblos is just at the top of the hill in the old town. Don't take staying in the old town as a bad think. Its beautiful and theres some of the best restaurants and pubs up this way. Its a lovely stroll down to the new town in the evening (about 10-15mins) and we always got a taxi back (no more than 2.50e).
The apartments themselves are fine. They're large. Well our was anyway. These apartments are all differently layed out so size will probably differ but by the looks of it ours was average size. It was very clean when we arrived. Sheets, floors and bathroom were all clean. The apartment was cleaned twice while we were there (1 week) but the 1st time wasn't until the 4th day of the holiday and the bedding was changed that day. From the looks of it the cooking facilities didn't look brilliant but I never cook on holiday so was no los to me. Theres was loads of wardrobe space in the bedroom and always plenty of hot water during the day. Just remember that all the hotels in Lanzarote use solar panales to heat the water so very early in the morning it won't be that warm but that the same no matter where you stay.
Also there is no bar after about 11PM so if you fancy a late drink don't expect to get it there. This was the only problems we had and are only minor things. Speaking to other people staying there, they were all very happy with the accomadation too. The pool area was nice with plenty of sunbeds and the barfood looked nice although we never ate there. Theres a supermarket down the road across from the Los Fiscos and its fairly well stocked with all you'd need. We only saw one cockroach the whole week running across the path and anyones who's been will know that Lanzarote can be crawling with them! Overall good apartments. Nice and clean, good location.
One thing about Lanzarote is the food. Its brilliant especially if you know where to go. The Lani's chain are very famous and they serve good food, especially they're grill but I do think you can get far better food in Puerto Del Carmen and would mostly use Lani's for lunch. If you want a really nice steakhouse then you have to visit La Cascada Puerto. Its on the same road as the Biosphera shopping center, down the hill on the opposite side of the road. There's always a queue be warned but theres a very good reason for it. A lot of the locals eat there especially in the next door Tapas bar which has to be a good sign. They're filet mignon is amazing and we found that dinner is cheaper than Lani's by about 5-10e for the same order. If you fancy a chinese the visit the New World oppposite the Fariones Hotel on the main strip. Beautiful.

My/Our Holiday Opinion:
I am just back from a 2 week break in Lanzarote. We stayed in the Los Pueblos Apartments.
We had a fab time, these apartments were really great. The staff at the pool bar were really friendly and the food was great.
We were a bit apprehensive when booking these apartments because of the bad reviews that they had in the past but we were really pleased.
The apartments were cleaned and towels changed every 2 days. Never had a problem and the staff were only 2 happy 2 help u out.
The pool area was huge and loads of sun beds 4 everyone.
Theres a bit of a walk down hill 2 the main strip, but u dont notice that at all and if ur not up 2 it a taxi only costs 3 euro.
Would highly recommend these apartments
If ur going 2 do some of the tours i recommend the Tiquise market, its a really brill market with bars, stalls and Bands playing all different kinds of music. The only thing i would say is dont book it with a tour operator, go on ur own, they will charge u a fortune and u can get 2 the market 4 about 5euro if u do it urself.
have fun in the sun

Me and my boyfriend were in Los Pueblos for Christmas. It was a brilliant holiday. The apartment was huge and the balcony was massive. Our balcony looked onto the pool and it was brilliant. We had a double leather suite in the apartment.
The bar staff were friendly and the food was great, we had a pizza on the first night, and there was loads of it.
The apartments was about a 20 minute walk down onto the main strip, which was all downhill which makes it a bit of a problem coming back, but the taxi was only 2 euros to get there, so we did that most of the time. Plenty of places to eat, every variety of food, loads of pubs.
Would definitely recommend this place to anybody and would go back.

These apartments were brilliant, ours was very spacious with a huge bed, double leather suite, and a huge balcony overlooking the pool. The kitchen had everything that we needed e.g utensils, plates, glasses etc.
Down at the pool bar this was good with great food and a good menu with things to choose for everyone, it was very reasonable also and the bar staff were very friendly.
The apartments were at 20 minute walk downhill to the main strip, but was only 3 euros in a taxi.
The main strip has plenty of bars, clubs, restaurants to suit everybody. The prices of food is quite reasonable also and plenty to choose from.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, but for people with walking difficulties to watch out as the hills are very steep. I would go back here.

Just returned from holiday. On arrival at after 10 in the evening, initial view of apartments was it was okay. (apt 410)
Having read previous reviews were a bit wary of what we were going to, was prepared with towels and some bedding.
Found apartment to be clean and spacious. Balcony had sea view and a reasonable size.
Only noticed the smell of sewage on first day!! As said towels were Okay, though were only changed when asked, this was done quickly.
Sarah the rep was very good and always helpful, booked with her to go on Catamaran. This seemed most appropriate with a teenager, though costly we found this was worthwhile and we all enjoyed it equally, especially the jet ski.
The food in the hotel bar was good and had one meal in there as well as some snacks. Visited the purple turtle as recommended, very good breakfast. Went to La Bamba at the end of the road 3 times for meals and it was always nice and good value for money. Staff were nice.
Wouldn't recommend the market, very disapointing. Could get the same things in the local shops.
found the hotel and the pool very good and would probably go back if I was returning to Lanzarote.
Night watchman, very funny and always chatty.
Overall view, came home after the week wishing we had stayed for 2!!

My/Our Holiday Opinion:
On arrival found receptionist to be very pleasant and were allocated a brilliant apartment (306) with a pool AND sea view.
Apartments were very basic and the bedrooms very uncomfortable and hot. We were unable to leave our bedroom window open because it was at the bottom of the main stairwell. The pool was quite small and the children's pool was just adequate. The poolside bar was very relaxed and served its purpose - the food and drinks were good but more expensive than in other local bars and restaurants. I feel I have to say that the bar staff - especially the two girls - were very miserable and bordered on being rude and arrogant. You felt like you were disturbing them when asking for service.
We used Marios Restaurant a few times and found the food to be excellent although the service was quite slow. We also went down to the Harbour which was lovely and had plenty of good restaurants. It also had the added bonus of a children's playground situated in the middle. The beach is a fair walk especially in the baking sun. However the taxis are very cheap - approx 2 euros to Harbour and nearest beach. We had read about cardiac hill and didn't find it to be as bad as others had said - although it was my partner who pushed the buggy not me in 44 degree heat! Found Lanzarote generally to be very clean, safe, cheap, hot and pretty as all the buildings are painted white and no building is above 3 storeys high.
Overall we had a really good holiday - although would not go again in July as it was too hot for our daughter.
We would go back to these apartments mainly because of the fantasic view and location.
