Hi could anyone tell me if they have ever stayed or know anyone who has stayed at the Los Zocos in CT? Can anyone tell me if it's ok? I have read reviews on Trip Advisor and they are quite mixed, some people love it and some hate it. I am not expecting 5 star, but would just like to know if it's clean and the food is edible. Also are the drinks ok there? We will be over next June, arriving on the 6th, will the weather be ok? Thanks in advance if anyone has any info.

We stayed there last October and I was quite apprehensive as we had stayed in top notch villas for the couple of years beforehand. We decided to go into a hotel for the kids activities for our 5 year old.

I was pleasantly surprised and would not hesitate to go back. Make sure you are in one of the refurbished blocks by emailing the hotel before you go.

The room and hotel in general were very clean and the Animation team were great with the kids. We only went Bed and Breakfast and I would recommend this for anybody that goes. There was a huge choice at breakfast and we had no problem getting seated straight away.

We paid for the dinner-time buffet one night and again there was plenty of choice with fresh Chinese food. However, the people who we spoke to who were all inclusive said the food did get very repetitive as the week went on.

One word of warning though - the swimming pools are extremely cold and it does not get much warmer during summer! However, there are a number of pools and bathing areas.

If you are hiring a car, there is a discreet car park round the back that nobody seemed to know about. It's better than parking across the road.

All in all, I think you'll have a great time at Los Zocos!

Zocos is fine.

My only gripe, was that they used to serve the Spanish locals at the bar first.

Never stayed there but frequently pop in at night to see if there's anything interesting going on, entertainment wise.

Generally seems to have lots of families, a lot of whom seem to let their kids just run round. Not very relaxing.........

We stayed here a few years ago and it was fine.. we book AI and was given an apartment, separate bedroom ensuite, with kitchenette and living room, good size balcony... overall we were very pleased. The food was great, so much to eat... entertainment geared mainly for kids... even the disco got taken over by kids about 11.00 p.m. One themed night was ok... we were in stitches as the animation team were mainly dutch and their sense of humor (If you could call it) was mad.

The pools were cold and I never went in the water be it pool or sea all week. We did have a nice week though and wouldnt hesitate to go back unless any more up to date reviews were negative.
