Try http://www.alpharooms.com for accomodation

and

http://www.skyscanner.net for flights , something may show up, biggest cost is normally the flights unless you want to use Lo-co operators. Can do cheap flights but changing flights outbound at Madrid, Luton or Manchester. Maybe just do 7 nights instead of 10?

Holidayrentals.com, holidaylettings.com, espanabreaks.com, all good sites for apartments. Easyjet are about to stop the madrid to lanza connection flight so cheapest prob. best with ryanair or maybe lingus

We normally go the third week of March and its about 24-26 degrees C. Probably need a light jacket or wrap in the evening.

Hi Colly,

I would highly reccomend Travel Republic to search for flights and accomodation. I fly from Edinburgh and normally always with Ryanair as its not exactly longhaul from the UK and providing you don't go over your allowance you can get some great deals.

My mates flying over for 5 days in March and she's only paying £190 for flights and accomodation and generally flying from Scotland costs a bit more so I'm sure you'll get something cheap as well.

Good luck and Happy Holidays when it comes.

Going out for St Patrick's weekend for the 5th year. The weather has always been excellent. I am flying from Edinburgh and paid circa £90 return although we always book early through Skyscanners. Not booked accomodation yet but looking at between £25 and £30 per night for three of us in an apartment, so not expensive really. Travel Republic is what we use.

I've tried Skyscanners a few times for flights to/from Ireland. But I've always end up going directly to the Ryanair or Aer Lingus websites in the end.

These two seem to be the only regular carriers.

Pardon my ignorance here now, but do charter flights (Thompson, etc.) appear on Skyscanners?

Sky scanners is only the search engine for the flights but you get directed to the relevant airline to book. It does show charters as well and sometimes the cheapest way will be to book Ryanair one way and Thompsons on the way back!not very often tho!

Hi

We have just booked with Ryannair from Prestwick for 10 days £100 ea return incl £40 for bags.

Got a good deal for Flora 1 X bed apt in old town (if you can manage cardiac hill) £225 in total, sleeps 4.

If you prefer the new town / strip area Palmeras apts reasonable. Good luck.
