Hola everyone - only 8 days to go before we come on out to Playa Blanca (looking at LV's weather reports daily and web cams). Please can I just ask another question (although I realise this info. is probably already on the Forum somewhere) - when are the market days in each of the resorts? Is Costa Teguize the biggest market? Also which day is Feurteventura market?

Thanks all - I LUV this forum but am living a sort of parallel virtual life in Lanzarote, it's going to be back to earth with a bump when it's all over But I'm sooo looking forward to next week!

Hi Trish. Market days in Playa Blanca are Wednesdays and Saturdays. They are held at the Marina, and there are also flea markets on those same days, on the road out to Femes.

Teguise (not Costa Teguise) is the biggest market, held on a sunday. Its possible to travel by local bus direct from Playa Blanca and also use some of the tour coach´s.
Be prepared to haggle!

Travel safely Trish! There's blue skies here today! You can often find us at La Taberna at the Marina on Saturdays (market day), so if you see a couple with a black labrador, sat with a dark-haired lady... then come and say hi. We've not planned to go up there this week, but you never know.
