Hi there, I`m new to the forum so a big hello to you all!!
We are going to Playa Blanca in September and we have booked it all independantly as we find package deals a bit of a rip-off!
I have seen from an earlier post that the taxi from the airport is going to cost in the region of €35, what I would also like to know is are all the taxis licensed to take only 4 people? We have a party of 5 and would need a people carrier, are these likely to be readily availble at the airport when we arrive?

there are few transfer companies who have minibuses...we had 5 people last year and our 2 year old...they collected us and took us to PDC and took us back to the airport and it cost us if memory serves me well about 85 euros.....we got it through http://www.lanzarote-leisure-villas.co.uk along with the villa we rented last year..this year we've got a differen villa but are hiring a car now we know where we are going...nothing like arriving somewhere at night driving on the wrong side of the road and not knowing where you're going...hahahaha

We used Canal travel last year and they do mini buses. You can book online and they do not ask for a deposit but you pay for both journeys on arrival at the airport. They were not cheap but very reliable and were waiting for us at the airport even when we were delayed and picked us up in plenty of time for the return journey. Thanks for the info. Ive checked them all out and they are a bit more than I was hoping to pay. Do the standard taxis in the ranks take 5 passengers?
