You could try spenders in Puerto del carmen, they are doing Christmas dinners and party for kids I believe. Only problem you would need a hire car or taxi.;)
I do envy you!!

Cheers for that, I have a hire car and intend to do as much getting away from the kids..erm I mean taking the family:Daround and exploring as much as poss. As Iv'e never been i'm also trying to figure out the distances to these places from where were staying as well. Iv'e heard good reports about a place called Jaspers (I think) Don't know how far this is from where were staying though. Also gotta visit Oscars as well but no doubt it'll skin me but hey Hope its worth it.

Sorry Yorkie I meant Jaspers not spenders!! Got the two muddled, the web site is http://www.jasparsbarlanzarote.com
As previously stated they are having events for the kids in the afternoon. A cab from costa teguise takes about 25minutes, not sure about where you are as it is quite central.

Nazaret to Puerto del Carmen (where Jaspars is) is approx 15 miles.
Taxi´s will be quite expensive on Xmas day with all the add ons so probably better to use the hire car.
Head towards Arrecife, turn right onto the circunvalacion then follow signs for Yaiza and Aeropuerto. Just past the airport take the left hand lane and head for Puerto del Carmen. Don´t take the Grandes Playas exit, come off at Rancho Texas then turn left at the roundabout, straight over the next. At the road end turn right past the San Antonio Hotel. Soon after you´ll see a Spar supermarket on your right, Jaspars is 100m further on on top of the Bank.

Places to visit:
Timanfaya National Park (Fire Mountains), Jameos del agua, César Manrique´s house,Miradors of Haría, Guinate and del Rio, Green Caves, Tiagua Agricultural museum, Cactus Gardens,Castillo de Santa Barbara (Guanapay- emigrants museum), Airport Museum, Antonio Padron foundation, Tanit Museum, Whale/Dolphin Museum (Puerto Calero), Los Hervideros + Devils bridge, El Golfo, San José castle + San Gabriel Castle (Art Museums), Femés, Papagayo Beach´s, Miniatures Museum (Macher) ...........
