We are coming to PDC in two weeks time and staying in a villa along Calle Penas Blancas and wondered where the nearest supermarket is?

If i am right you are staying up in los mojones, therefore it depends which end but you have a large cheap supermarket on the hill down into the old town supersol. or the other way you can go to the soar besdie the petrol station which will cost you a little more. if you have a hire car you are better shopping out of town, we now have a lidl next to ikea beside the port in arrecife.

hope this helps.

Yes we are staying on the far side of Los Mojones area (the opposite side to Calle Reina Sofia main road) what is the road called down to the old town where the Supersol is? We wont have a hire car so trying to plan how to walk there, not knowing the area we're not sure how long it takes to walk to places, like the main shopping area for restuarants and to the harbour.

Many thanks for your help.

Hello

I stayed in Villa Casa Maya a few years ago and the Supermarket near the Petrol Station is no more than a 5 minute walk away.

I can also recommend the Hiperdino Supermarket on the Hill down towards the old town as they have a much better selection of fresh fruit, bread and fresh meats on offer.

If like us you enjoy the BBQ's in the evening then this is whre we would get our supplies from.

Los Mojones is a great place to stay.

Have a great Time.
