New bus routes from Playa Blanca to Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen will go into effect from next Monday (27th of June).

There will now be two routes - the number 60 that will have a direct route between Playa Blanca and Arrecife and the number 61, that will go directly to Puerto del Carmen via Puerto Calero.

On the Playa Blanca-Arrecife route, the first bus will leave at 06:50 followed by one every hour on the hour from 08:00 to 22:00 (Monday to Friday). On weekends and fiestas the first one will leave Playa Blanca at 08:00 followed by a departure every two hours until 22:00.


On the Playa Blanca - Puerto del Carmen route, the first departure is at 08:30, followed by hourly departures until 23:20., with half frequency at the weekends and fiestas.

Hi Eric, no , the only buses that stop at the airport go to Playa Honda and Arrecife.
You can travel to Playa Honda, change carriageways then get another bus to PdC, Yaiza and Playa Blanca
, or at the same stop you alight then get buses to Costa Teguise.
