Becoming a PDC regular, was there in late October off back in 3 week, just wondering any new bars etc worth visiting, last time there visited the Tavern on the strip a lot for brekky and lager time break from the beach but the owner said she was selling up, has it changed hands if so anyone know if the meals are still the same the sunday roast was very good also as it is Cheltenham nh festival week anyone suggest best bar to watch the big races will the sports bar on the front have them on?....cant wait for some sun....cheers

The bar that comes to mind for racing/Cheltenham is the Brian Boru on the Sea Front. Beside "Cardiac Hill", the strech between Tropical/Ruta66 Bars and the Fariones.

yes the tavern has changed hands and is now irish-run.
i would advise the brian boru for cheltenham as it has the best bookies staff on the island!
