Hi everyone, hope you can help me We have been to lanzarote 5 times and love it and are thinking of going over for new year eve, got a great price, have never been that time of year before, whats weather like then, do prices in bars and resturants stay around the same, any information will be greatly appreciated, thanks

We have been the last 5 new years and absolutley love it, think it's one of the busiest times of the year.

The weather is usually really good with plenty of sunbathing days and maybe a few overcast/rainy days.

You might get the odd place shut new years day but most places are open as usual.

I highly reccommend it, you will have a great time.

Just to clarify, although some places may shut on 1 Jan (and 6 Jan when the Spanish Christmas celebration is, everything is open on New Years EVE

We,ve also been over for the past five years for New Years Eve, fantastic, especially the fireworks display on the beach. All bars and restaraunts are open. It can be a little chilly on an evening so a light jacket or cardy is recommended. The three kings procession is great too, although we will have left Lanzarote and gone over to Fuerteventura by this date so we,ll miss it.

Yeah, on the 5th January, go to Arrecife waterfront about 6pm to see their 3 kings procession, it's awesome, great atmosphere.
