Stayed there for 5 years on the trot up to 2009. At that stage it had got a bit grubby and Thompsons were using it for their last year.

Called to see it last year and crowds were down.

Appartments are small, but servicable. AI, at time Thompson used it, was mainly used by UK people. Quality of food was poor. You are better to move down to the town for your grub and at least see some of the local food joints.

Childrens activities were good.

entertainment in dome was poor, but free drinks if AI, might make up for it.

I can't comment on the current operators, but on a scale of 1 - 10, I'd have rated it 6/7 at the time.

i don't know theSun tropical, but Playa Blanca is lovely. Go down to the dorada Beach, which is about your nearest. The kids will love it, and it has all the facilities.

Thanks peeps. Its with Thomas Cook. We have 2 apartments so shouldnt be too bad.
I suppose even if the food isnt that great then because we're AI i can still afford to venture out to eat.
I mainly wanted somewhere hotel based for the kids with entertainment, so as long as they're amused that'l do for me.
Cheers :)
