pedanticism at its best!
Characterized by a narrow, often ostentatious concern for book learning and formal rules:

Who cares?! Last time I checked this wasn't an English exam paper!

And well done for proving my point! You didn't acknowledge or even read what I said!! I like to think that I treat everyone on here equally badly depending on what they say not on my perception of them.

Foodie, you underestimate yourself, it's much more than just one woman. :D :D

Come on Foodie a Lanzarote forum is the SINGLE BEST place to ask for advice about Lanzarote (well other than actually IN Lanzarote.), remember most of us regulars are pretty holiday savvy and Lanzarote savvy but many people aren't and they're trying it for the first time, they don't know that there are cash machines that except (certain) UK cards or that the plugs are different or voltage or that English is widely spoken or even how hot it gets OR EVEN whether they can get the right baby food, which despite you're cynicism, is actually a showstopper if you can't.

Oh I know Ole! There's a time and place for having a pop at someones typing ie. when its all text speak or virtually unintelligible but when you pick out one person rather than someone else who's done the same thing you kind of think they've got a bit of an agenda!

People who read this forum for information will get the information they require. Normally if it´s a local issue a resident is the best for the local knowledge.

This is on my previous posts. I quite/kwite frankly don´t care about spelling but I really do enjoy the feeling of giving correct information to people who require it. Not everyone is an expert in Lanzarote, I have areas that I don´t comment on because I can´t be sure of the facts. If they are not correct don´t give them.

As oleoleole has just pointed out, some people wouldn´t come if they didn´t know the times of the tides (probably a bit far) etc, but a local would have the knowledge. I personally wouldn´t, but would leave it to someone who did. I would never knowingly put false information onto this site.

This is a forum to bring people, entice them with Lanzarote and all it´s treasures. If people ask a question it is because they want an answer however trivial it may seem to some. That is exactly what this forum is about.

Fair deal, some of the strings go awry, but then that shows the humanity or not of that poster.
This is a great forum for information, but also for fun, lets keep it that way.

Yes, I read what you said or I wouldn´t have replied. That is the acknowledgement.

Fair enough but if you're going to slag off others for something trivial then you should expect a bit back but I think your a big enough boy to cope.

Right you lot pack it in, he’s feeling persecuted and victimised ! :D
