I have booked a weeks stay ay the Oasis Lanz for a week over christmas 2011. The reviews about this accommodation are very wide and varying can anyone offer an honest appraisal? I am in unit 208 so if anyone is familar with the site plan could they also offer information on its location. I will probably be travellng on my own so any suitable bars ( not the red light type ) would also be appreciated!

nice complex, part time share owned part thomson, basic apts but ideal for self catering, very clean and nice grounds, two large swimming pools, one more for kids,on site cafe/bar too.the position is great right in centre of town and 5 mons to the beach, loads of bars on the doorstep and the main market square is just opposite.

Never stayed there but would do.

It's in a good location and seems well maintained.

It's on our must try list.

Stayed here about 6 times, the last time was in May.
The apartments are a bit tired now but are kept clean, the grounds are very well kept, the receptionists are very friendly but unfortunately when a timeshare company took the place over around christmas time they got rid of some staff and now the receptionists have to work longer hours and alone so at times you are kept waiting because there is a queue.
I think they are as good as you get for the money because what could anyone expect when you are only paying about £180 for a weeks accommodation and we only use it to sleep in because with the money we save on accommodation we always eat out and I will be back in November.
