Hi all, im off to Playa Blanca on sunday for the first time. Can anyone advise any 'must do's' whilst there? Travelling with family n kids.
What about the waterpark? I looked but it seems theres only a few poxy rides there..Worth a visit or waste of money?.
Im going all inclusive but any affordable nice places to eat out?
Any places highly recommended would be appreciated..Many thanks :)

I went a couple of years ago, and I enjoyed the water park loads (and im 21!!)

The kids will love it, and its really nice to sit and relax on the sunbeds there too!!

Rancho Texas will occupy a full day.

Pedal boating in PB will tire them out and last little over an hour.

I'll second the Rancho Texas day out. Guinate park is worth a visit too if you have a hire car.

Kids also love the yellow submarine in Puerto Calero and it's a great place to chiil out over lunch afterwards in one of the cafes at the marina.

And, of course Timanfaya is a must visit for anyone, kids or not.

There's boat trip from PB harbour up to Papagayo beaches and back. You can get off at Papagayo and get a later boat back or just stay on for the round trip. The round trip takes about an hour and there are viewing windows under the water line to watch the fish.
