When i was there last July the price of drinks (bacardi breezers which i mostly drink) were 5.50 euro each if i remember right. I was staying in my apartment on a half board basis last time so didn't have to worry about food then, but this year i'm going self catering and planning on eating out.

Bacardi breezers are cheaper than €5.50!
So it will work out cheaper this year even with the crap exchange rate.

Kitty.......your not going mad that is what Tropical, Ruta 66 and the American Bar (3.50 eu)charge for alcopops.............at least they were a couple of weeks ago.

I guess it's because they're large, popular bars and tend to be dearer that most others in PDC.
We were drinking "Fat Frogs" one night Image which are made up of 3 various alcopops in a pint glass and we were charged anything between 12 - 15 eu per pint.....having said that you only need 2 of them to be on your back Image

By the way.....with regard the exchange rate, I checked on getting home with my Nationwide account and I was getting 1.26 - 1.27 to the pound by using my card in the ATM's

Good advice about the Nationwide card, you will get the best exchange rate and no charges or commission.
