Sorry but today it is €1.22 with the odd slimeball offering €1.23 but then deducts as in Dave69s case a couple of euros when they say NO COMMISSION!!

Still at €1.50 for a large San Miguel from 1-7pm Mon-Fri Spenders does try to help you save a bit

lol Mike

It is great for us here I have to admit. I was back in Newcastle recently and was loaded with bits and pieces to bring back that would normally have been put on hold.

Of course we depend on tourists so we do have to give them something in return which at €1.50 for the large San Miguel I hope I am helping them, oh and of course my whammy measures.

Totally agree O.H. that we have to give the tourists something back. Your offer of only €1.50 for a large San Miguel sounds ideal for anyone celebrating buying an apartment in a community with pool for just €93,500!!

Your cider for the wonderful work you do in promotions is probably the cheapest you can get it on the island, unless you are going to prove me wrong and if you do then it goes up.

As my T-shirt says, "One by one the penguins steal my sanity".

Will get Copperfield into Spenders after the Marathon in November, I´m sure we´ll need refreshment!

SARA Animal charity will be the main beneficieries of our joint attempt on the record!
Ready Geoff?

Was in the bank yesterday and happened to look up at the exchange rates board: £1.17 the exchange rate for euros - absolute disgrace. The rate had better go up again before the summer!!

If it doesn't go up by then i may be forced to start busking round the streets of puerto del carmen between 17th Jul to 31st Jul. Remember to give generously everybody! :D

No only joking, to be honest i'm kind of panicking in case i save up what sounds like a good amount of spending money only to find when i get over there that it isn't enough. Has the price of food/drink risen a lot in Lanzarote lately?

Prices seem to be static although a few bars have put their prices up.

What prices can you remember paying and maybe we can help you out on that one. If I remember right, last July the rate was around €1.49.
