:)Hi Everyone. I have been to lanzarote a few times. This time it will be in July and we are going to hire a car for a few days. having done most of the south of the island. can anyone tell me of any good beaches/places of interest, in the north of the island. Any good fish restaurants would be of use as well. Done the fish restaurants at El Golfo!!! 8)

Have a look at http://www.lag-o-mar.com
It used to be owned by Omar Sharif - and is really good! It's right in the very North.

Also... give Arrietta a visit - there's a couple of REALLY good fish restaurants on the seafront. If you liked El Golfo - then you'll love these too.

Give Jameos del Agua a go, for it's caves, and albino crabs, and acoustics. And also swing by Jardines de Cactus too. Personally once I've seen one Cactus, I've seen them all... and I'd be bored within 5 minutes. But it's very popular, so don't take my word for it.

Also... have a look at Famara Beach - it's lovely up there.

And if you really want to go North - then why not take a day trip over to La Graciosa - which you can get to from Orzola I think.

Have fun! Elle xx

The Jameos del Agua is excellent about €8 per person, Cueva de los verdes approx €7. The ferry to Graciosa Island runs 3/4 times per day from Orzola (where there are some excellent fish restaurants.

The mirador del Rio €4 approx also gets you a drink included in th price.

Tours are available for 2-8 people at TimanfayAir tours contact
