Has anyone got info on the time post takes to get to the Island?
Julie got some stuff after 8 dayd but I am waiting for an important piece of post and its been 3 weeks.
I´ve heard stories where if the post is slightly large it gets left at the Post Office (local) and you have to fetch it.
Any ideas?

if they leave the post at the post office they will leave a card in your box to let you know to collect it. I have had post take 5 days and some take 4 weeks somne has not even got here so sometimes I think its pot luck. I did have 2 very large parcels sent over and they did not even get here and I got a call from te UK saying they had got them back and it had cost me £150 to send them nothing I could do though

Hi

I am currently working on UK post taking 3 wks average. Last letter I received took 17 days.
I get parcels from the UK and they seem to take about a week, but Correos invariably leave a card and wait for you to collect it, rather that deliver it to your door.
Be warned - if you don't respond to the card within 10 days, the parcel goes back - but you don't necessarily get the card as soon as the parcel arrives, so check the dates carefully.
Confusing!!!!!!!!!

I´m onto 25 days so probably won´t receive the package. Lost in the travel etc. Oh well, we just have to wait and hope. Strange it gets to the UK in 5 days tops.......

Simon,

have you been to the post office? If it was recorded delivery the person will be able to give you the tracking/id number.

A parcel of mine was lost and when I went to the PO it had been there but then returned as I hadn't been to collect it, the funny thing is they never left me the form at home to say it was there. I had the number(from the sender) and they checked it and of course that is when they said it had been returned.
