Just wondering if there is a bus to El Golfo (from anywhere)?

No, sorry, no bus to El Golfo, but a superb service around the Island (not Timanfaya National Park).

Take the bus to Yaiza or Uga and get a taxi from there. Otherwise it will cost you a fortune.
