Hiya just got back from Puerto Tahiche apts. Had a great time - mind you it depends the kind of party you're going with. we have 2 small kids - ideal for them. Lovely pools, loads of kids stuff to do. Staff and reps are lovely. Apts basic, but fairly clean. Regular maid service. Quite a few cockroaches around - don't be put off - the island is a volcanic rock and there is no getting away from these little beasties! situated right by the lovely beach. loads of places to eat - all spanish restaurants beautiful and clean (wouldn't advise the english ones - service not good standard in some!) Quite at night - we didn't really lose any sleep in the apt block - have a nice holiday!

have been 3 times in the last 2 years, enjoyed every visit, apartments are basic however cleaned regularly, staff always helpful.
the apartments are in a great location, you have got the beach & promenade right behind them, & numerous bars & restaurants at the front & side entrances, really couldnt be in a better location.
The 2 pools have their own lifeguards & there is daily entertainment laid on for kids. poolside bar serves drinks & food.
for quick access to the beach & bars behind the complex, if you have kids in prams or need a wheelchair, use the lift in the barcela apartments next door

Hi we are a family of four,2 adults and 2 kids staying here next weekend for 1 week all incusive.
Do you think we made the right choice having all meals/drinks at this complex on an All inc?
We only payed £435 for the hotel and thought this seemed a good deal.
What standards were the food like anyone know?
Also my son loves shooting Pool,do they have a Pool table and was this free?
We have asked for a Pool view and then after booking we realsed we could have had a Sea view.....Doh!
Any more info on hotel would be great and let me know how much the taxi was to get here from the Airport so I know what to expext please,Many thankyous!!
Ps....The beach looks beautiful hope its as nice as they show it on the net?

Have a look here and see what you think.

But seriously, Mandi, I don't know why people don't do a bit more research before they book. I mean just suppose you read something here which makes you NOT want to go??? :| £435 isn't a bargain if you don't get what you want, or at least that is my opinion.

We did do some reviews on the place and on Holiday Truths.

There were more Excellent thAn bad so Im happy with that.
Also it was defernately a bargain...The travel agens wanted £1.400 for the week with flights and we did it on our own for £949!
Plus we are all calssed as Adults...Oh well we will see how it goes and its only for the one week. Thanks for the reply though.

:)Wow what a lovely hotel,We had a fantastic time at this hotel the food was outstanding,The staff were all friendly and the Kids loved it with there being so much to do!
We even got involved in the Greece show on stage with the entertainers!
Oscar was so funny,he really knows how to show paople a good time and make you laugh, especially throwing people in the pool including your sun beds!
The pool was freezing but funny at the same time, sitiing there watching people cool off and plucking the courage to go in!
We had a good look around the resort and this hotel was in the best location possible.
We went for the one week all inclusive and thoroughly enjoyed every minute....didnt want to leave it all behind.
Ignore any bad reviews there are a few out there about cockroaches.
Only saw 3 in the whole week and they were no where near the rooms, just happily crawling around the gardens.
Thankyou eveyone for the info on this hotel.xx

My wife and I have just come back from Puerto Taheche Hotel. We both thought it was very good we stayed in one of the 2 bedroom studio apartments which was twice the size of the room we had in Rhodes the year before it was very clean and the maid service was very good. The staff at reception were very helpfull and all of them spoke English.
We stayed half board and as we had a car we went out most days one day we asked for a picnick lunch turned out it was provided free could not beleive the amout of stuff that came in it. The food in the resteraunt was vey good and it was kept very clean and that takes hard work. I know I have been in the catering trade for 30 yrs so I would give them an A
We would stay again that says it all Joe
