I'm new to this forum. It's fantastic here though! Lots of really good information.

My girlfriend and I are coming for a vacation in September. We're staying in Playa Blanca, but did fancy a night or two of clubbing, and I had a few questions that maybe you could answer for me?

1) Do you know (roughly) how much a cab from Puerto del Carmen to Playa Blanca might be (probably in the early hours).

2) Are there any nightclubs (or discoteques as I'm told I should call them) in the Playa Blanca resort?

and finally

3) I've read about Jameos del Agua, and how it's a nightclub on certain nights of the week. I can't find a website for it, and wondered what kind of music they play there?

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks for your time

Cueva de los verdes is classical, normally, and Jameos del agua is normally open at weekends, standard disco fare.

marea bar next to the natura palace has late night music most weekends,really nice chill out bar,and rooftops bar in punto limones ( near the ferry port) is a late bar/ night club too.
in the comercial complex near playa dorada beach you will find late bars and a club too cant remember its name? have a look on canarynightlife and trip advisor and ask the same question,there are playa blanca residents on there with more info.

The Route 61 timetable in the link seems to end at 10.30 pm from Carmen to PB. You might need a cab back.

Or maybe catch the 0745 one back after a good night?

I met the singing Paul King a few times in the 80's and he was a very nice guy.

He's a TV producer these days, following on from doing a lot of presenting on MTV.

talking of famous people i hear michelle gayle some character from eastenders apparently is singing at one of the fiestas. shes meant to be really good so if you there on 25th aug you might see her!!!
