I have just returned home from a nice time in C,T .The weather was great and Playa Bastian IS still like it was the last time we were here Friendly People and Brendon and Sheilagh still make you welcome. I was really upset to see many Restaurants are closed down especially the ones we used when we last came. Saxos was really quiet and so were quite a few other bars. But so what we enjoyed ourselves we had great weather. I really hope that the resort really picks up and the local buisnisses .

Aye shame about Teguise, as it is a nice resort,we were there about 5 years ago, and found it so quiet then. Went out one Sunday afternnon to watch the footie, thinking the bars would be really busy, but could'nt beleive how quiet it was, speaking to the bar owner, he blamed the All inclusives and said he was really struggling, we had the choice of seats in front of a huge plasma.Shame really. Been going to Carmen twice a year since then.
